Industrial production in Egypt grows by 29.2pct

(MENAFN) The whole industrial production value reached EGP114.3bn amid the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to EGP94.4bn in the third quarter of last year.
Furthermore, coke coal and petroleum products activity show the most important economic activity which contribute by 16.0 percent of industrial value.
Additionally, the total production value for the manufacture of food products hit EGP25.2bn for the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to EGP20.0bn in Q3, 2016.
The increase is attributed to the need to cover the market needs of oils, sugar glucose, agricultural products export and high demand for animal feed and bran.
