Inflation rate in Qatar reaches 2.8pct

(MENAFN) Education, recreation and culture costs increased between 6 and 7 percent from a year earlier, which boosted Qatar inflation rate by 2.8 percent in July.
Accordingly, the general price index for the cited month of this year was estimated at 108.5, showing an increase of less than 1 percent.
Additionally, many groups witnessed increase in prices, such as; Transport at 2.8pct, Recreation and Culture at 2.4pct and others.
However, there was a decline in Restaurants and Hotels by 0.3 percent, while the prices of goods and services grouped under Tobacco.
