Investcorp to buy stake in Turkey’s Namet

(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Investcorp announced that it intends, along with its related entities, to purchase a minority stake in Namet Gida Sanayi ve Ticareti A.S, Saudi Gazette reported.
Namet is the leading Turkish producer of fresh cut and packaged processed red meat products such. The company sells its products to retailers as well as hotels, restaurants and catering companies, and all of its products are certified Halal.
?We have invested heavily in the Company in the past few years and became the number 1 vertically integrated meat business in Turkey. We believe we are well positioned for steady expansion underpinned by solid market demand.
