Iraq signs MOU with Iran to launch industrial parks

(MENAFN) Iraq and Iran had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) over corporation in launching industrial parks.

During the signing ceremony which was attended by Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister and his Iraqi counterpart, Iranian minister confirmed his country is determined to boost economic and trade ties with Iraq.

As he noted that lack of banking relations between both countries resulted in serious problems on both sides, he added: “Despite the agreement which the two countries” central banks made last year, there has not been any progress in this regard.”

On the other hand, the Iraqi minister expressed his country’s eagerness for cooperating with Iran in various areas.
