Italy’s Finmeccanica Co. signs Eurofighter deal with Kuwait

(MENAFN) Italian defense Co. Finmeccanica signed a contract with Kuwait for 28 Eurofighter jets.
Moreover, the deal involves logistics, operational support and the training of flight crews and ground personnel.
Additionally, it also provides for the upgrade of ground-based infrastructure in Kuwait which will be used for Typhoon operations.
The deal estimated value between USD 8bn and USD 9.1bn, while the rest is in the hands of a group of firms in the Eurofighter consortium.
