(MENAFN) Japanese firms plan to explore investment chances in Dubai and other areas of the UAE, like energy, renewable energy, water and environment.
Accordingly, the UAE is one of Japan’s main bilateral trade partners, recording more than USD 51bn in 2014, with non-oil trade reaching USD 15bn in 2015.
In addition, more than 300 Japanese firms work in the UAE, 250 are in Dubai, whereas these numbers will grow more where Dubai provides promising chances.
Dubai has a clear strategy for sustainable development, which aims for 7 percent of Dubai’s energy to be provided by clean sources by 2020.
