(MENAFN) Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways announced recording an increase of 26 percent in its total passenger number in August, as well as an increase in the number of passengers on 12 different routes during the same month, Gulf News reported.
The low-fare airline said that a 19 per cent increase was registered in the number of passengers on routes to Istanbul, Beirut, and Amman due to the summer break and the eid vacation.
Meanwhile, the airline also registered an increase by 29 percent in the numbers of passengers in its routes to Gulf cities compared to August 2013, as well as a 36 percent increase in the number of passengers in its Egypt route.
