(MENAFN) Jordan, Egypt and Iraq have recently discussed a railway project linking the three countries, according to Qatar News Agency.
the project was discussed in a meeting between the Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Saturday met with Egyptian Minister of Transport Ibrahim Demeiri and Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport Salman Jassim.
The project aims to boost trade cooperation between the three countries and consolidate the Arab countries’ economic interests.
Accumulated profit by the joint venture between the three countries is expected to reach USD250 million.
