Jordan issues USD100mn loan from Islamic Bank for Development

(MENAFN) The Islamic Bank for Development has pumped an USD100mn soft loan to Jordan, as proclaimed the Ministry of Planning and Intl Cooperation.

Additionally, the loan will be utilized to fund health project in the kingdom, while the loan agreement was reached amid the co-op of Ministry of Planning in the bank’s Board of Governors meeting.

Meanwhile, under the deal, USD79mn would be offered as a soft loan, whereas the remaining USD21 would be given as a grant.

Through the collaboration in the meetings of Jeddah-based Islamic bank, the minister discussed with officials means to boost ties between Jordan and their organizations.
