(MENAFN) Jordan Minister of Economic Affairs and Minster of Industry proclaimed that the kingdom and the UK will start re-negotiating their mutual trade deals in 2 years.
Accordingly, Brexit effect on Jordan will be limited to the need to adjust the agreement on simplifying the rules of origin for trade with the UK.
Additionally, the volume of trade between both sides has not reached the wanted level, while Jordanian exports to the UK last year reached JD18mn.
On the other hand, Brexit will not have any effects on Jordan economy and mutual deals will remain effective.
