(MENAFN) Jordan has been increasingly growing its interest and focuses on the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) segment, considering it makes up 12 percent of the Kingdom’s GDP and continually creates job opportunities.
The country plans to take crucial measures, which involve a wide range of incentives and privileges which will be offered to investors in the (ICT) sector, with the clear goal to render it as a vital attraction for leading global companies.
The planned incentives will include nationwide income tax reductions of up to 5pct plus a zero sales tax and other customs fees, not to mention that the kingdom has already taking the lead with applying the 4G network.
Meantime, the nation is applying a national broadband network to link government bodies and health and educational entities with a high-speed fiber optic network that would guarantee effective government work.
