(MENAFN) Jordan and the World Economic Forum launched a new platform called “Jordan Internet for All”, which plans to bring Internet access to millions of Jordanians, involving women and isolated communities.
Additionally, the project will focus on addressing the barriers that prevent universal Internet access, especially upgrading demand for Internet use.
Moreover, this will be installed by focusing on supporting women to utilize the Internet, easing the development of more relevant online content in Arabic and enhancing e-government services.
Accordingly, the initiative will foster the kingdom’s process of digitization and will help enhance the performance of the public sector, addressing that Internet penetration stands at almost 85 percent.
