(MENAFN) The Queen Alia Intl’ Airport welcomed 7.410.274 passengers, making a new record for annual passenger traffic.
Accordingly, the Airport witnessed a 4.4 percent increase in PAX in comparison to the last year, while Aircraft Movement numbers also grew in 2016 at 2.8 percent.
In addition, the airport also experienced an increase in ACM, posting 5.953 ACM as opposed to 5.813 in Dec 2015.
From Jan among May 2016, QAIA viewed an increase in PAX, ACM and handled cargo, which continued until the start of the region’s low travel season amid Ramadan.
