(MENAFN) Qatar’s Katara Hospitality unveiled plans to construct a new iconic building in Doha, set to be a leading hospitality landmark, Arabian Business reported.
The five-star Lusail Marina Towers will include approximately 800 units comprising hotel rooms, residence apartments, offices, recreational facilities, specialist boutiques and restaurants.
The project , which will be located in Lusail, is scheduled to complete by 2016 and will be located in Lusail, a development 15km north of Doha city centre.
CEO Hamad Abdulla Al Mulla said that the development will be ideally located for traveling football fans during the Qatar Football World Cup 2022, and will be a perfect getaway for Middle East leisure travelers looking for luxury accommodation.
Earlier, Katara unveiled plans to open six hotels by 2016, in a bid to more than double its portfolio of properties from 24 to 60 hotels by 2030.
