(MENAFN) Kuwaiti Finance Minister Mustafa Al-Shimali signed a number of agreements with Hong Kong’s government on double taxation, economic and technical cooperation, and encouraging and protecting investments, Kuna reported.
Al-Shimali said in a statement that the agreements would boost economic, investment, and trade cooperation with Hong Kong and would increase government and private investments between the two sides.
Kuwait aims, through signing such agreements, to provide a base for investment in the region, he highlighted.
He praised the relations and huge investments between Kuwait and Hong Kong and the keenness to boost them on both sides.
