(MENAFN) The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said that its board has approved the establishment of a center for oil and petrochemical research, part of its strategy and in line with the government program, Kuna reported.
The KPC board decided to establish the center during its meeting last Thursday, with aim of boosting research and application of modern technology in oil exploration, production, refining and industry, as well as petrochemical industries.
The center would be conducting research on future challenges facing Kuwait oil sector to guarantee good operations and utilization of hydrocarbon resources on medium and long terms.
The center will provide high-quality training for Kuwait employees to use modern technology in oil and petrochemical industries.
