Kuwait to establish USD1bn Olympic Village
13 Jan 2017
(MENAFN) Kuwait’s Public Authority of Housing will publish the main construction tender for its USD1bn Kuwait Olympic Village by March-end this year.
Moreover, the project will involve a 25.000-seat stadium, a swimming pool complex and a residential block for athletes and will comprise a total built-up area of 2.67mn square feet.
Accordingly, the main deal will be awarded in the second quarter of this year, while the construction should start in the same quarter.
In addition, Vietnam’s NKC Consultancy Co. has been appointed as sub-consultant to design the foundations and superstructure, plus the roof’s steel structures of the project.
