(MENAFN) The Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works (MPW) has announced that during the year of 2010-2011 139 projects would be completed amounting to $9.9 billion while 132 projects would be completed in the year after, reported Kuwait times.
The ministry added that a new electronic system would be used in these projects execution while the paper one would be terminated. This would help link all projects together in a single electronic network.
Mohammed Bin Nakhi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Development and Planning, said that computer applications for monitoring projects were now completed. The applications would track and monitor projects from start to completion.
Fatima Al-Shemmari, Head of the Training Unit said that training was conducted on the new applications in order to ready employees for the actual implementation.
