(MENAFN) Kuwait’s Zain Group, one of the Middle East’s largest telecoms operators, plans to increase stake in Morocco’s inwi, according to Arabian Business.
Zain currently owns 15.5 percent stake in inwi, and intends to increase its shareholding in the mobile operator.
CEO of Kuwait’s Zain Group, Scott Gegenheimer said: “We think it’s a very well run company, we’d love to increase our stake.”
Gegenheimer added that Zain also plans to acquire in North Africa, in several sectors, such as internet service providers (ISPs) and content.
