Kuwaiti Jazeera Airways revenues drop by 38.1 percent

(MENAFN) Jazeera Airways exposed its profits for the second quarter of this year, which declined by 38.1 percent as it reached USD6.53mn, compared with USD10.56mn for 2015.

However, the firm recorded net profits of USD19.76mn, a decline by 3.7 percent from USD20.52mn at the similar period of 2015.

On the other hand, the carrier proclaimed that it recorded a strong performance on the back of higher passenger numbers, which closed a load factor of 72.4 percent.

Last July, Jazeera Airways requested to be allocated land at Kuwait Intl’ Airport, in order to build a terminal, which was confirmed by the Kuwait Council of Ministers.
