(MENAFN) International FDI inflows last year grew for the first time after three years of decline reaching record levels since the fiscal crises.
Moreover, whole FDI inflows grew by 40 percent or almost USD500bn to USD1.76tr on the back of higher inflows in developed economies.
Meanwhile, green field investments also contributed to the increase with a small grow of 8.4 percent to reach USD765.7bn.
However, the share of the GCC of FDI inflows declined over the years reaching a low of USD19.8bn during 2015.
