Lebanon will launch biggest fiber optics tender in a month

(MENAFN) Lebanon’s Telecom Minister had confirmed that they are working on launching largest fiber optics tender ever in a month.

Jamal Jarrah said: “We will launch the biggest and most important tender in Lebanon”s history after one month for the installation of fiber optics cabinets to be able to provide our citizens with high-speed internet services.”

During SmartEx at Forum de Beyrouth, which is held in Lebanon for the first time, and it aims to gather technology experts to showcase their latest products and innovations.

The minister also said that the Cabinet approved the seventh phase of the fiber optics networks project and allocated the necessary funds to facilitate the ministry’s mission in delivering its work on expected time.
