(MENAFN) South Korea’s LG Electronics announced that it has inaugurated its purpose-built training facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, Gulf News reported.
The $15 million, three-storey facility is LG Electronics� sixth Learning Centre in the world and represents a major step forward in the development of industry standards in the Middle East, said the company.
The opening of the new Learning Centre follows the launching of LG�s new 33,000 sq ft regional office in May 2010 reinforcing the company�s continued commitment to the UAE.
LG�s MEA Learning Centre comprises a number of tailored training rooms, designated workshop rooms, lounges and offices. The centre has the capacity to train up to 175 people at full capacity and is projected to train 3,000 to 5,000 people a year.
