Libya’s Afriqiyah Airways orders 4 Airbus A350-900

13 Nov 2012

(MENAFN) Airbus’ COO, Customers, John Leahy, said that the company inked a deal with Libya’s Afriqiyah Airways for additional 4 A350-900 XWB aircraft, reported Xinhua News.

The model’s matchless economics and superior passenger comfort will be the main contributors to the carrier’s continual success.

The A350 uses 25 percent less fuel and provides an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions.

The new planes will serve new routes that Afriqiyah plans to launch in the Middle East, the US and Asia.
