(MENAFN) Banks and global and regional financial institutions provided to invest 734.9mn euros in T-bills in a bid put by the Central Bank of Egypt.
Meanwhile, the bank is offering T-bills worth 650mn euros on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, which is the first time euro denominated T-bills are offered this year.
Accordingly, the CBE received 29 bids in order to cover the bid reaching a total of 734.9mn, of which it accepted 24 offers worth 659mn euros.
In addition, the interest rate granted to investors in those bills range between 1.75 percent and 1.80 percent.
