(MENAFN) Marriott International signed a long term management agreement with Family United General to run the Residence Inn by Marriott Kuwait City, Arabian Business reported.
The 143-room hotel, which is set to open its doors in 2015, is the company’s third Residence Inn by Marriott for extended stay travelers in the GCC.
The agreement forms part of Marriott’s expansion drive in the region, which is aimed to reach a total 43 properties across the Middle East and Africa by 2017 � 2021.
The hotel is designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite will include a fully functional kitchen and separate living area, flat screen TV and Marriott’s highly acclaimed bed and bath linens.
The property will also include a self-service lounge, casual restaurant and a meeting room. A takeaway kiosk/market offering snacks, basic food items, newspapers, magazines and various sundries will be also located next to the front desk.
