Metropolitan Egypt to collect EGP10mn for solar energy plant

(MENAFN) Metropolitan Egypt for Consulting has inked a deal with Infinity Energy Systems to allocate EGP10mn to establish a solar energy plant in Aswan.
Furthermore, the contracting is part of the firm’s plan to support projects that serve the national economy and help revive it.
On the other hand, the company plans to finance Infinity from foreign investment funds specialized in financing solar and renewable energy projects.
This was attributed to the Egyptian banks’ refusal to finance these projects for long periods, while the feasibility study of the project aims a period of 12 to 15 years.
