Middle East hotel sector maintains solid in Q2

(MENAFN) STR data showed that the hotel industry in the Middle East hit almost flat outcome during the April-June time of the year, while hotels in Africa marked an expansion.

Moreover, STR reported occupancy levels in the regions declined by 0.1% to reach 62.4%.

Furthermore, in Oman, occupancy rates have hit 49.6% in the cited months, underlining an increase by 10.1% year-on-year.

Egypt’s occupancy levels underlined significant growth compared to other area, increasing by 13.9%.
