(MENAFN) The Middle East package printing industry is set to record an aggregate growth of about 5 percent, hitting USD52 billion in value by the year of 2019, Saudi Gazette reported.
The study, which is founded on the most recent analysis on the industry, predicts that the Middle Eastern growth will surpass the global forecasts, which reached 4 percent.
The need for packaging will be further motivated by increased economic activity, soaring incomes, urbanization and a relatively young and growing population, according to the COO of Dubai’s International Distribution Network SAL.
“Used in a wide range of industries across food and beverage, healthcare, cosmetics and other FMCG segments; as well as a range of commercial and industrial sectors, package printing has become an essential item,” the COO added.
