Minister of Housing signs contracts to improve three settlements in Cairo
04 Jan 2016
(MENAFN) Minister of Housing signed a protocol of collaboration with governor of Cairo to improve three informal settlements zones at USD 0.125bn.
Additionally, the first area situated in the Sayeda Zeinab district in Cairo, of which ministry will start development of 815 residential units with USD 23.40mn.
Moreover, a whole of USD 99.9mn will be owed for the development of more than 6,000 residential units in an informal settlement area in the region of Mokkatam.
In Oct 2015, USD 14.12mn was allocated from a grant by the German Society for International Collaboration (GIZ) to present development projects for citizens living in the informal segment.
