(MENAFN) The CEO of Cairo-based company Mobiserve Holding, Sameh Atalla, said that his company was chosen by Mobily to set up the first long-term evolution (LTE)-WiMAX mobile network in Saudi Arabia, reported The Saudi Gazette.
The deal includes providing survey, design hardware and radio frequency installation and commissioning services for the network by Mobiserve.
The CEO said that the fourth generation (4G) network would offer data speeds 100 percent faster that of current third generation (3G) networks to Mobily’s 5 million customers. LTE-WiMAX 4G network would have a major impact on Mobily users’ connectivity experience.
