(MENAFN) Morocco’s economy increased by 1 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to 4.8 percent in the same period of 2015.Accordingly, the GDP growth is predicted to slow to 0.8 percent in Q4, a sharp drop on the 5.1 percent growth posted in the same period a year ago.However, agricultural output declined by 11.1 percent in the quarter after N. Africa”s worst drought in decades.The country expected in May this year that harvest would plummet by 70 percent to 3.35mn tons from 2015’s record 11mn tons.
