​BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has recently announced the names of the Fourth and Fifth Ramadan & Eid prizes winners as follows:

Mr. Robert Earl Reeder ($40,000)
Dr. Raeda Al Alawi ($50,000)

The cheques were handed over to the winners by Nada Bubshait, Head of Retail Marketing.

The Al Hayrat draw took place on August 3rd under the supervision of Mr. Suood Saif the Ministry of Industry and Commerce representative, in addition to BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal Control and Retail Marketing and Retail Banking representatives.

Mr. Reeder, A Canadian national, who has been in Bahrain for the past 19 years and a BBK customer for most of those years, expressed his sincere gratitude for the bank, especially the City Centre branch where he was first introduced to the Al Hayrat Savings Account, where customers are offered the chance to win amazing cash prizes while continuing to save. He went on to say that the bank’s excellent electronic Banking services are what drew him to the Bank and what makes him loyal to BBK which remains his primary bank.

Mr. Reeder did not share the news of his win until he came in to pick up his cheque for the $40,000 and mentioned that he could not wait to inform his wife -who was out of the country at the time – of the wonderful news!

 Mr. Reeder will continue saving with Al Hayrat in hopes of winning the Instant Millionaire Prize at the end of the year.

Dr. Raeda Al Alawi won the Fifth and last prize of the Ramadan Weekly draws worth $50,000. She expressed her disbelief and joy at the same time at having won the Grand Eid prize especially as she has been a customer of the bank for many years and had not been expecting this happy news at all.
