Mubadala opens firm for mapping and surveying

(MENAFN) The Chief Operating Officer of Mubadala Development Company, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, said that the company established a firm for mapping and surveying services called Bayanat LLC and located in Abu Dhabi, reported Gulf News.
Al Muhairi said that Bayanat was developed by the Military Survey Department of the UAE and would continue to provide the UAE Armed Forces with services considering it its main client.
The COO said that to enable different organizations in the UAE to benefit from the data available, the company is also providing services to institutions of the public sector, private companies as well as military organizations in the GCC region.
The COO added that the reason behind launching Bayanat as a commercial company was to improve service levels, efficiency and delivery for the UAE Armed Forces.
