(MENAFN) Passenger traffic at the Muscat International Airport went up 13 percent in January, Arabian Business reported.
Statistics show that the number of passengers, including transit and transfer passengers, increased to 780,223 passengers at the airport, up from 689,463 passengers in the corresponding month a year before.
Arrivals at the airport during the month increased 12 percent to 392,762, while departures increased 15 percent to 383,306.
The increased number of passengers was a result of adding more flights by airlines as Oman Air and Ethiopian Airlines in addition to launching a new airline.
