(MENAFN) The Saudi National Air Services Company (Nasair), stated that it would start sending booking confirmation to its clients via SMS and thus passengers would not need to carry papers showing their booking confirmation, reported Gulf News.
Nasiar reported that the new system woiuld completely replace printed cards. It added that all details that Nasair front officers at the airport need like the PNR, passenger name, date and flight number and destination would be included within the SMS.
In order to use the SMS service successfully, all the passenger has to do is give their mobile number, whether they would book using the airline website, phone or sales offices.
It is worth noting that this new booking method comes under the Saudi airline strategy for providing more smart services.
