Nato presents UAE with chance to use firing facility

(MENAFN) The Major General at the Nato Missile Firing Installation (Namfi), George A. Somaras, said that Namfi is presenting the UAE and other Arab countries with the chance to test weapon systems in its facility in Greece, reported Gulf News.

Somaras said that first time users of the facility receive a fifty percent discount on the overall cost of testing.

Somaras added that Namfi provides users with high quality services in complete safety. Namfi gives countries the chance to test weapons systems, conduct training and firing in a controlled environment, he added.

The major general said that Namfi was used by around 9 countries, which are not Nato members, as well as several companies who used Namfi’s range for target testing and testing weapons systems.
