(MENAFN) NMC Health, UAE’s healthcare provider, announced posting USD40.9 million in profit in the January-June period, increasing 27 percent compared to USD32.3 million in the same period last year, Gulf Daily News reported.
The company, which operates general and specific hospitals, medical centers, and pharmacies, had a 15 percent increase in revenue, amounting to USD314.3 million, while health care revenue hit USD161 million.
The Abu Dhabi-based NMC is one of the largest private sector healthcare providers in the UAE and is expected to expand its work more with the opening of two new hospitals.
“We expect these two major additions to our hospital portfolio to make significant contributions to our future growth,” NMC chief executive said.
