(MENAFN) Oman’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries is aiming several offers for boosting aquaculture ventures in the Sultanate, which would entail investment of USD2bn.
Meanwhile, the projects promise to ignite the increase of a strong economic sector on fish and shrimp farming.
Accordingly, the ministry is studying 24 applications linked to the implementation of large-scale aquaculture projects.
Furthermore, from the whole apps delivered, 6 proposals have been confirmed with their execution likely to start before the end of the year.
