(MENAFN) Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, is taking into consideration to keep the national resources and helps of the efforts used by the global community.
Moreover, it aims to improve and implement international conventions to protect wildlife, for these purposes, the country opened the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).
In addition, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs will work with Oman Air to grow awareness of their customers on the importance of following the articles of the Convention.
“CITES is among the conventions voluntarily adopted by states, and the Sultanate of Oman is one of the pioneer countries in the field of native wildlife conservation,” Said Chief Executive.
