(MENAFN) Oman Air is to launch two new services from Muscat to Manila in the Philippines and Jakarta in Indonesia, starting December 2014, The Saudi Gazette reported.
Starting on December 2, Oman Air will be offering two flights per week to Manila, with a third one beginning to operate on Dec 13, while three flights per week will be offered to Jakarta starting Dec 12 with a fourth flight being operated from January 2, 2015.
With the addition of these flights, Oman Air will be the first carrier to offer non-stop flights between Muscat and Manila, as well as Muscat and Jakarta. Both new routes will meet strong demand from air travelers in Oman, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The airline’s announcement of its new routes comes ahead of the arrival of 24 new aircrafts which the company ordered.
