Oman Development Bank pumps OMR272mn loans
16 Feb 2017
(MENAFN) Oman Development Bank has issued 33.643 loans worth of OMR272mn, as funding for many projects amid 2009 to 2016.
Accordingly, the loans were issued to different projects across governorates and across diverse economic sectors that added value to the economy.
In addition, the loans made as many as 79.991 jobs chances for nationals, due to the bank’s policy on employing Omani carders in the projects it finances.
Recently, the number of microfinance loans amid the period hit 32.849 valued at OMR160mn, which reflects the Bank’s role in supporting micro-projects.
