(MENAFN) The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has issued treasury bills worth OMR42mn for 91 days from Nov 2, till Feb 1, 2017.
Furthermore, the average accepted price reached 99.788 for every OMR100, the minimum accepted price arrived 99.785 per OMR100.
In addition, the treasury bills are short-term highly secured fiscal instruments issued by the Bank, which helps the licensed banks to gain their surplus funds.
On the other hand, the Government (MOF) may also resort to this instrument whenever felt necessary for financing its recurrent spending.
