(MENAFN) Mazoon Dairy Company aims to construct a dairy firm with a capital spending of OMR100mn to achieve self-sufficiency in dairy production in Oman.
Additionally, the integrated joint venture dairy project plans to start almost 4.000 cows by 2017, which will increase to a size of 25.000 in 2026.
Meanwhile, the firm also will produce almost 202mn liters in 2026, which will jump to 985mn liters in 2040.
On the other hand, Oman Food Investment Holding was established by the government in order to invest in food security projects.
