(MENAFN) Oman’s government subsidized its power sector with about USD784.6 million in 2014, marking a decrease by 2.5 percent from the former year’s USD805.4 million, Oman Daily Observer reported.

“Oman’s electricity and water sector continued to register a strong growth rate in 2014 through increasing the distribution and transmission capital assets,” the Chairman of Nama Group said.
