Oman to award USD65 b projects the next five years

(MENAFN) According to an expert, Oman is going to award engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth USD65 billion in the next five years, Times of Oman reported.

These projects contain the proposed refinery and petrochemical project at Duqm and a nation-wide railway project, project direction of Kentz Engineering International said, addressing the third annual EPC projects summit.

The summit explores four key themes, including pricing of EPC project, challenges faced by both EPC contractor and project owner during execution, analyzing best practices in contracting and procurement strategies and in country value and local community contractors and risk management for EPC projects.
