(MENAFN) Oman is aiming to reduce the elect consumption of some of the country”s biggest users and proclaimed new tariffs for them.
Accordingly, the RO100mn worth of subsidies will be cut for large commercial, government and industrial users.
Moreover, new tariffs will apply to almost 10.000 entities in the Sultanate who use at least 150 MW annually.
The removal of the subsidies will save the country both, money as well as fuel.
