(MENAFN) Oman Food Investment Holding Co. proclaimed that it will apply four main ventures at a cost of USD 699.61mn, which predicted to improve food security.
Accordingly, the four projects will start production in the coming three years, one by one and the main investors in these ventures are investment and pension funds.
In addition, Oman Food Investment promoted Mazoon Dairy, which will be set up in the Wilayat of Al Sanina in the Governorate of Al Buraimi at USD 259.1mn.
The farm will start with 4,000 cows in 2017, which will increase to 25,000 in 2026, and the project is expected to commence in 2015 with commercial production in 2017.
