Oman Water signs a deal with OPWP to start desalination plants
16 Mar 2016
(MENAFN) Oman Power and Water Procurement Co. signed an agreement to establish the Qurayat & Aseelah Temporary Desalination Plants with Muscat Water LLC.
Moreover, the project will be located in Qurayat in Muscat Governorate and Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in Shaqiyah South Governorate involves the design, construction.
Additionally, the whole water output of Qurayat plant is 8,000 m3 per day, while total potable water output of Aseelah plant is 10,000 m3 per day.
The project is expected to contribute to create job chances for the national cadres and make contractual opportunities for regional business and enrich the Omani content.
