(MENAFN) Oman’s Galfar Engineering and Contracting’s value of orders has reached over USD1.22 billion during the January-September period of this year, while the company has won USD383.19 million worth of new projects compared with USD163.11 million during the same period last year, Times of Oman reported.
Galfar’s parent company reported it has registered a net profit of USD7.76 million during the first nine months of this year compared with USD14.49 million for the same period last year, while its revenue declined, reaching USD701.65 million, compared with USD748.25 million for the same period last year.
During the cited period, Galfar Engineering and Contracting said that it has also completed Hasik-Shuwaimiya road project, which cuts across peak hills and virgin terrains, covering a total distance of approximately 85 kilometers in Dhofar region, as well as being awarded Mirbat-Taqa road project
